On Easter Eve, dance all night to the sounds of... DJ LoPro and DJ Cutler, Rabbi Darkside, Loki Da Trixta, and Fudgy Chewy. Hosted by Emcee Sick. All proceeds from this event will go to nonprofits leading the fight for social justice and cultural awakening in Buffalo, including Coalition for Economic Justice, Ujima Theatre Company, Buffalo First, WNY Homeless Alliance, MAP, Buffalo ReUse and PUSH Buffalo. Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Soundlab, 9 PM-3 AM $10.

Enjoy a glass of local wine or hard cider at Buffalo First's Local Business Mixer March 16th. Join local business owners at Chateau Buffalo, at 1209 Hertel Avenue, from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm. Appetizers will be provided by Taste of Thai, also located on Hertel Avenue. Part of the mixer will focus on how local retailers are dealing with the recession and how we can work together to get through it.
